Mercury Films offers the most extensive film catalog in Spain: more than 8.000 national and international films, with worldwide rights to more than 4.000 titles.

Over the years, Mercury Films has been acquiring films disseminated among production companies, directors, producers, etc… thereby constituting an immense and unique catalogue. Nowadays, Mercury Films owns more than 8.000 films, 4.000 of them internationally.

A unique heritage that tells the story of cinema: the company owns the original negatives of many of the films, restored and digitized original material, and has the rights in perpetuity to 80% of the Spanish films produced up to the present day.

“Recovering the cultural heritage of Spanish cinema produced by our industry in the past century and the beginning of the 21st century is a public responsibility that MERCURY FILMS has assumed as its own”

Enrique Cerezo, president of Mercury Films.

More than 8.000 titles preserved in the best conditions.

Mercury works to take care of our cinematographic heritage. With the negatives which have almost disappeared, if not been lost, and in any case always in a poorly preserved state, a huge technical effort has been made towards the recovery and restoration of these films. Mercury’s laboratory is constantly providing new 4K material necessary to adapt the catalogue to the new quality standards.
